Items are charged to your credit card when they are ready to be shipped, NOT when the order is placed. If an item is on backorder, you will not be charged until the backordered item is in stock and ready to be shipped. Your email order confirmation is not a guarantee, receipt or proof of payment.

To place an order online

Browse through theterracottage.com by clicking on a link such as 'Jane' or 'Hillhouse Naturals'. When you see an item you like, click on 'add to cart' and continue shopping. When you're ready to complete your purchase, scroll over your cart to confirm your items. After you've made any changes and updated the quantities as desired, click on 'checkout' to finish. You will then be taken to our secure payment page.

Shipping Information

In stock orders are generally processed within 3 working days and should be received with in 5 - 7 working days (business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.) Processing times may take longer during busy seasons such as Christmas.

Items ordered together may not be shipped out on the same day. Occasionally, some items are temporarily out-of-stock; we will do our best to notify you of any delays beyond our normal shipping times.

Items are charged to your credit card when they are ready to be shipped, NOT when the order is placed. If an item is on backorder, you will not be charged until the backordered item is in stock and ready to be shipped.Your email order confirmation is not a guarantee, receipt or proof of payment.

We ship USPS Priority Mail or FedEx and ship within the continental United States only at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We charge a flat rate of $6.95 for all orders under $50.00. Orders totalling $50.00 or more are shipped free. Some exclusions may apply and will be noted on this site.

Returns

All returns are subject to our approval unless prior arrangements have been made. If you would like to return an item, please send an email to shop@theterracottage.com Please do not return an item without authorization. We're sorry, but we cannot refund shipping charges. All returns are subject to any return shipping fees you incur when you ship the product back to us. If your order qualified for free shipping, those shipping charges will also be deducted from the total amount refunded.
